Residence hall students can get the H1N1 vaccine for free until 4 p.m. today in Eastway.

The university received its first shipment of the vaccine in the flu-mist form, according to Kent State's flu Web site. The flu-mist requires additional screening.

Students can register in advance by visiting http://www.uhs.kent.edu/osh. Walk-ins will be welcome depending on supply.

The H1N1 vaccine also will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday in Eastway.

It's good that the vaccine is finally available. How is the flu mist form different from the injected form? Is it more risky?
