Man falls from dorm window

A person fell from a window of Olson Hall onto a first-story roof Friday night, university police said.
As of yesterday afternoon, Paul Monnin, pre-journalism major, was in the intensive care unit of Summa Akron City Hospital and listed in serious condition.
Monnin works for Kent State student media on Black Squirrel Radio and as a vodcast anchor for KentNewsNet.com.
The call to the Kent State Police Department came at 8:18 p.m. requesting an ambulance for an unconscious male.
Monnin was transported by the Kent City Fire Department.

This is rather unethical. Naming the kid when the police report hasn't even come out yet. What are you thinking. And on top of that naming the organizations he is part of. (Continued…)

This is rediculous. Take this down. The police report hadn't even came out when this was published. Poor Journalism. Not too ethical.

Doesn't matter if the police report is out - fire departments run sheets are public record. His name would be on that. FD must provide that information. (Continued…)

The reality of it is that someone was seriously hurt. When will people realize drugs kill and it can happen to them. Poor judgement call! I feel for the family. (Continued…)
