This is really stupid. The guy sounds smart and funny, and spends his life raising money for Kent State so that all of us can go to school.

Honestly, I can't really comment because I pay no attention whatsoever to the financial and administrative issues of KSU. I can typically say the same about Portage County, and the State of Ohio. (Continued…)

Wait, why is a VP for fundraising a "weenie??" That's bizarre. Where do you WANT the money to come from - higher tuition? Higher taxes? Seriously, I don't understand why all the hatred for the professionals who run the school. (Continued…)

Robin, you simply do not understand the fundraising workings do you? The president is the number one fund raiser at all institutions. What donor wants to talk to the VP for development? If you were giving money, wouldn't you want to meet the head honcho?

Perhaps you need a different hobby instead of trolling around on forums? Maybe playing in traffic? Or taking a bath with a hairdryer? Equally as fun for you and us!

Yeah...ask the Alumni Center or phone bank folk just who raises the most money, my annonymous little buttercup! And, um...ask em for the organizational chart for 'donations'-ha!

KSU needs the money from "capitalistic private enterprise or third world foreign government." State support for higher education dropped precipitously under the last administration in favor of K-12 support (sad as that is given the state of many K-12 schools). (Continued…)
