Sign Language show at Stark Campus

Keith Wann, an American Sign Language comedian, will perform a comedy show at 7 p.m. tomorrow in the Main Hall Auditorium at the Kent State Stark Campus.
Wann is well-known in the ASL community for his Pepsi commercials that became popular during the Superbowl, and his success with his one man shows "Watching Two Worlds Collide" and "K.I.D.S.", where he talks about his experiences growing up with two deaf parents.
Ceciliarose Evans, the vice president of the Kent State ASL club, said this is the most significant event the club has sponsored thus far.
"Keith Wann is kind of like the Dane Cook of the deaf community," Evans said.
Comedian Crom Saunders will join Wann for the comedy show. Crom is an ASL professor at the University of Pennsylvania, and he has been around the nation on Keith Wann's ASL Comedy Tour, which is still touring.
Tickets for the show will be $25 at the door, or $20 in advance if ordered on the Web site www.aslcomedytour.com.
"It doesn't matter if you know ASL or not, comedy is a universal language," Evans said. "But if that line doesn't capture your heart, the show will be voice interpreted."
