Lenny finishes 24th at NCAA Championships

Sophomore gymnast Christina Lenny finished in a tie for 24th place in session two at the NCAA Championships held Thursday night in Lincoln, Neb.
Lenny's score of 38.400 in all-around competition tied her with San Jose State freshman Thomasina Wallace.
Lenny earned a 9.750 on both bars and floor to earn 29th- and 34th-place finishes in the individual events. She scored a 9.725 on beam to take 30th place.
Vault, which is not only Lenny's favorite event but also usually her best, gave her more trouble. Lenny earned a score of 9.150 to take last place in the event.
The NCAA Championships will continue until Saturday with team and individual finals.

Congratulations go out to Miss Lenny, and the entire Gymnastics' team for a great 08'- 09' season. I'm sure the exposure to the national competition will be an experience that she will never forget. (Continued…)
