Psi Chi, the national honor society fraternity for psychology, will host a fundraiser concert at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Rathskeller.

The performing band, Wire Mother, consists of psychology professors Joel Hughes, John Dunlosky, Katherine Rawson and John Updegraff, as well as Summa Health System employees Mary Beth Spitznagel and Patrick Palmieri.

Rachel Gartner, president of business for Psi Chi, said the band does mostly covers of songs, but it also writes its own material.

Wire Mother has also played at other venues such as the Robin Hood and appeared at the Taste of Hudson.

There is a cover charge of $5, and tickets will cost $3 for students who present their IDs. All proceeds will go to the Safer Futures battered women's shelter in Portage County.
