College Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and the International Socialist Organization will debate tonight about the economic state of the country.

The debate, which will be held at 7 p.m. in the Kiva, will focus on what went wrong with the economy and how to fix the situation.

Steven Hook, the chair of the Political Science Department, will moderate the debate.

One to three representatives from each group will be given five minutes for an opening argument, a one minute response to all questions and about four minutes for rebuttals.

After the prepared questions have been asked, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions of their own.

College Libertarians treasurer Jacob Shreffler said he organized the debate because, in addition to the confusion about the economy, he thinks students should get to know the political organizations on campus.
