The Used will headline this year's FlashFest on April 30 at 7 p.m.
Last year approximately $70,000 was spent on the event. OK Go headlined, with several local bands playing throughout the day.

how about getting a band that everyone knows. not just a select portion of the population.
once again, kent state caters to the minority not the majority

I love The Used. How do I get in? To the Naysayers I hated a lot of bands before I saw them live.

God! I love the USED. They are such a good American rock band. I can't believe they're finally playing at Kent State.
Everyone should be so happy they get to hear a band that will go down in the record books with other bands like Led Zeppelin and The Doors. (Continued…)

It's a shame that Flashfest is a letdown every year. I guess not every year can be like 2005 with Razorlight opening the show and Muse headlining.
