Dining Services is hosting 'Banana Day' from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Eastway Café. The menu will consist of banana-related desserts.
Zane Powell, assistant marketing director of Dining Services, said Banana Day is a unique day because the banana is an understated fruit that doesn't get the recognition it should.
"We are celebrating the best, yellowiest banana in the world," said Autumn Piller, director of marketing of Dining Services.
Piller said she will dress up in a banana suit and students will have the chance to take a picture with her.
Banana Day started three years ago and has been a Dining Services tradition ever since.
