Men's basketball heads to CollegeInsider.com tournament

The Kent State men's basketball team will return to the court once more this year, facing Oakland University in Michigan at 7 p.m. Tuesday as part of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.
The inaugural tournament will feature 16 teams and include eight first-round games, four second-round games, two semi-final games and a championship game, according to the tournament's Web site.
Selection criteria for the single-elimination tournament involved win-loss record, strength of schedule, strength of conference and final 10 games, among other things.
The Flashes (19-14) lost 65-62 against Buffalo in Thursday's Mid-American Conference Tournament quarterfinal game but won 11 of their last 14 games.
