WATCH as the students give it their best shot.

Students signed up and competed in an 8-ball tournament to win a brand new pool cue. Eight-ball is a call shot game, played with a cue ball and 15 balls numbered 1- 15. The player who pockets the 8-ball wins the game.

Kent Student Center Programming employee, Chris Patrick, organizes the free event every Monday for students to come out and have a good time. Students enjoy coming to the cyber café for a competitive game of 8-ball, especially for the prize.

Many students find 8-ball relaxing and use it as a stress relief. Instead of getting in trouble and hanging out in the streets, students come together to play 8-ball.
