Men's basketball takes down Akron, 67-63

The Kent State men's basketball team stormed back in the second half to defeat Akron 67-63 this afternoon at the M.A.C. Center.
Junior guard Mike McKee hit a 3-pointer with 53.9 seconds remaining to give the Flashes (18-13, 10-6 Mid-American Conference) the lead for good, at 63-62. Kent State had trailed by as many as 10 points in the first half.
Senior guard Al Fisher had 18 points to help the Flashes overcome the absence of junior guard Chris Singletary, who was ejected just over a minute into the game for apparently striking Akron's Nate Linhart. McKee added 10 points.
Despite his ejection, Singletary will be eligible to play in the MAC Tournament. The Flashes will play their first tournament game Tuesday, with the time to be announced later.

Awww...the nice man calling the play-by-play for today's Flashes/Zips basketball game just made a snide comment about Title 9 and it's dertrimental effects on collegiate "big-time-wrestling" programs!
Is he some kind of a malcontent, or what?
