The School of Library and Infortion Science is holding a career fair at 5 p.m. tonight in the Student Center Ballroom.

The career fair will focus on jobs in the fields of library and information science, and will be an opportunity for students to learn about the library and information science profession.

A panel discussion will begin the event, located in the Ballroom Balcony. The discussion will allow students and anyone else interested to hear what employers are looking for, the best strategies about applying for jobs in the library and information science field and the job areas that are most in demand.

Exhibits will open at 6 p.m. in the ballroom. Students will be able to chat with professionals and learn about different career opportunities. Representatives from various public, school, industry, science, health, law and service libraries will be in attendance.

SLIS is also sponsoring a career night in Columbus at the State Library of Ohio on March 9.
