There will be no parking on either side of Main Street between Water Street and Depeyster Street starting today.
The city will begin underground utility work consisting of water lines and lines for the fire suppression system for phase three of the Phoenix Project. Traffic will be directed through the parking area until Friday.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and to provide additional travel time when leaving for their destinations.
All businesses will remain open.
