Standing Rock Cultural Arts will host a Monty Python party at 10 p.m. tomorrow at the Kent Stage. The double feature kicks off with "Monty Python and The Holy Grail," followed by "The Meaning of Life," which will begin at midnight.

Jeff Ingram, director of Standing Rock Cultural Arts, has been a fan of Monty Python films for 20 years. Ingram said the Kent Stage will show independent, classic and foreign films that do not attract the attention of recent Hollywood releases. The movie night will take place once a month, Ingram said.

"It's a chance to get out of the house and have fun," Ingram said.

Ingram encourages everyone to come to the event. He said it is better than renting a movie and watching it at home because it gives one the opportunity to meet new people and see what downtown Kent is all about.

Ingram said laughter will get everyone through the dreary winter.

"Monty Python is a good way to escape the doldrums of February in Ohio," he said.

Tickets are $5 for general admission and $3 for Kent State students and senior citizens.
