I think most people who wait for the bus don't realize that there are more factors than just driving the route that affect the arrival time. During parts of the day when there are a lot of class changes, the busses can be very crowded; during peak driving times for commuters there is a lot of traffic; and during times when the weather is less than ideal there are a lot of people waiting for busses - all common causes of a delayed arrival. Some people should realize when they are making outrageous claims. For example waiting 30 minutes for a campus loop I personnaly know that I have never in my time at Kent State which is 2 years have had to wait for the bus that long and I ride the buses often. (Continued…)

Parta hires alot of people who have no clue what customer service is, how to drive safely and efficiently and they don't care when you complain. You do have to take into consideration that the routes may be forced to run behind schedule if they are required to stop at every stop to pickup passengers who do not have thier fares ready and hold up the route. You have to take into consideration things such as weather, passenger load, and traffic. I find it hard to believe that someone would have to wait for a bus longer than maybe 9 minutes. (Continued…)
