Extended hours at the library went into effect Monday in anticipation of finals week, and will remain in effect until next week.

The library will open at 7:30 a.m. and close at 3 a.m. the following morning through finals except for Friday and Saturday, when the library will close at 8 p.m.

In addition to later hours, the library will offer a "Stress-Free Zone" Dec. 8-10 between 3 and 5 p.m., where the library staff will provide free food and drinks. It will be located in Room 019 in the Main Library Building's basement.

For more information on the extended hours or the Stress-Free Zone, consult the Libraries and Media Services Web site.
