Omega Psi Phi is celebrating its founding date this week with programs and activities. The fraternity was founded on Nov. 17, 1911, and has been on Kent State's campus for 39 years.
• noon Monday - Campus Clean-up in Risman Plaza
• 8 p.m. Tuesday- "Sex/ Relationship Talk" in Studio A of Twin Towers, co-sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority
• 7 p.m. Wednesday- Women's Appreciation Day in the Student Center Room 206. Student Multi-Cultural Center
• 7 p.m. Thursday - Apollo Night in Oscar Ritchie Lecture Hall. Admission is $5.
• 4 p.m. Friday - Kids Turkey Jam in Oscar Ritchie Multi-Purpose Room

November 17, 2008 marks the 97th anniversary of the International brotherhood of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Since 1968, Omega Psi Phi has stood as a beacon of leadership at Kent State through the brothers of Psi Gamma Chapter. (Continued…)
