BUS will hear from police, educate students on voting

A police officer from the Kent State Police Department will speak at the Black United Students meeting tonight.

Dwayne Yates, BUS public relations chair, said the officer will explain the differences between the Kent Police Department and Kent State Police Department. Yates said the organization will also replay a documentary that aims to educate students on the importance of voting.

BUS will meet at 8 p.m. in the lecture hall of Oscar Ritchie Hall.
