Technology open house to showcase projects, continuing research done by KSU students

Technology students and professors will showcase new projects and continued research at their open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in Van Deusen Hall.
The open house will host numerous presentations to inform and educate exploratory students and technology enthusiasts on the new research avenues and expanding fields within the department. All students are welcome to attend the event.
"We are opening our doors to the student body so they can experience what goes on in this environment, and the continuous improvement we demonstrate in this process is invaluable to our collective growth," said John DeCola, director of Institutional Advancement in the College of Technology. "This college is a breeding ground for entrepreneurs and leaders of industry, and we hope to show that potential to everyone present for this event."
Presentations will be made on fuel cell research, the new battery technology of an electric scooter and an award-winning hydraulic bike built by students and professors.
Construction Management, a relatively new major, will offer an open class where guest students are invited to experience the major firsthand.
The College of Technology will host a second open house for alumni from 11 a.m. to noon tomorrow.
