Suede, the Kent State fashion graduate and recent contestant on Bravo's "Project Runway," will swing through Kent tomorrow to celebrate Homecoming.

Lori Randorf, executive director of the alumni association, said the association received a call last night that Suede would be in town and was interested in coming to Kent.

"We thought the parade might be a good opportunity to let everyone see him," she said.

In addition to riding in a vehicle during the parade, Randorf said Suede will likely be appearing at the Alumni Association's tent on the grounds of the Williamson Alumni Center on Midway Drive.

"I'm sure he'll be swinging by for at least a lit bit," she said, adding that details still need to be confirmed.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow on Midway Drive and will travel toward downtown Kent before ending on Franklin Street.
