Police arrested a man outside College Towers around 5:45 this evening.

The man was wearing camouflage pants and carrying a weapon.

It is unknown at this time what type of weapon the man had, but some students say it was a BB gun.

Kent City Police would not comment. Campus police said there was not a shooting, but could not comment further as the event occurred outside of their jurisdiction.

First, Linda, I am sorry about your family's health problems. However, neither that nor a speeding car justifies "losing his temper" in that manner. I have seen the cars in the parking lot speed by on their way to B building. (Continued…)

With everything being taken into account, where do the POLICE get off LETTING PEOPLE IN AND OUT of the parking lot? WHY didn't they use their cars to block off the entrances? THE POLICE were giving this man ample opportunity to escape and do it again elsewhere. (Continued…)
