The Kent Stage is rolling out the red carpet this Saturday for the premier of Autumn Line's latest snowboard video, "Technicolour."

Autumn Line is a snowboard video production company owned by Kent State graduate Adam Porter.

Three films will be shown at the premier. Along with "Technicolour," California-based Mack Dawg Production's film "Down With People" and Ohio-based Syndicate Clothing's film "All Smiles" will be screened.

"Technicolour" chronicles the Autumn Line team globe-trotting last winter. The footage was compiled during the winter months and edited during the summer.

The film follows more than 15 professional riders as they hit everything from the snow-covered mountains of South Korea to the handrails and stairs of Detroit. They also traveled to Idaho, Lake Tahoe, Portland, Montreal, Japan and more.

"The riders went out and spent all winter traveling and chasing snow," Porter said. "They went to big metro cities and rode handrails, and took snowmobiles out into the mountains."

The premier will also feature prize giveaways and appearances by professional riders.

"We have tons of prizes," Porter said. "We have stuff donated from sponsors, stuff from local shops - it's all done in a raffle format. Almost everybody leaves with a prize."

Among the prizes are a new snowboard, a jacket, snowboard boots and gift cards for Boston Mills/Brandywine Ski Resort.

The riders will be present to sign autographs and meet fans.

This will be the third film Autumn Line has premiered at the Kent Stage. Last year they showed their film "This Is For Everyone" and premiered their first film "Never Felt Better" in 2006. All three Autumn Line videos are available at snowboard shops across the country.
