PRIDE! hopes for a strong semester

PRIDE!Kent will hold its first meeting of the semester at 8 p.m. tonight in room 317 of the Student Center.
Leora Rzepka, president of the organization, said all students are invited to attend.
Rzepka said this year, PRIDE!Kent is looking forward to being a stronger social group by covering more issues related to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
She also said she is looking forward to seeing "everyone who has been gone for the summer and meeting freshmen and new students."
New officers will be introduced during the meeting. Two officers left the organization after being elected last April.
Following the board's presentation, old members will introduce the organization to new members.
