University announces interim dean for College of Technology

The university has named Verna Fitzsimmons, associate professor and interim assistant dean for the College of Technology, as the dean of the College of Technology, according to a press release.
Provost Robert Frank announced she will assume the role July 1, according to the press release. Fitzsimmons will fill the position of the current dean, A. Raj Chowdhury, who announced in February he would return to a teaching-only role.
