KSU student, boyfriend plead not guilty in $7.4 million robbery case

A Kent State student and her boyfriend pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of stealing $7.4 million in a heist last November, according to The Associated Press.
Nicole D. Boyd, 25, a former fashion design major at Kent State, and her boyfriend Roger L. Dillon, 23, made the plea in Cleveland's U.S. District Court.
Both are charged with three counts: bank larceny, conspiring to transport stolen property in interstate commerce and aiding and abetting the transportation of the money across state lines.
Dillon was an employee of Armored Transportation Systems, enabling him to achieve access to the building and the money, FBI special agent Scott Wilson said. He did not come to work the day following the theft, setting off an investigation.
FBI agents tracked Boyd and Dillon, along with Dillon's mother, to a trailer in Pipestem, W.Va., where they were arrested.
Dillon's mother also faces charges of conspiracy to transport stolen property across state lines, transporting and aiding and abetting in that transportation from Ohio to West Virginia, the AP reported.
A trial is scheduled for March 24. Boyd could face 25 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
