International dessert reception to welcome back students Saturday

International Student and Scholar Services is holding an international dessert reception at 4 p.m. Saturday in the ISSS office in Van Campen Hall.
This event is to welcome international students back from break as well as welcome students who are new on campus this semester.
Amy Bode,International Student and Scholar adviser, who is coordinating the event, said she invites the entire campus community to come sample the treats international students bring from their homelands.
This is the first time ISSS is holding this type of reception, and Bode said she hopes it will strengthen students' pride in their cultures.
