Students interested in becoming informed about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues on campus can attend PRIDE!Kent's first meeting of the year at 8 p.m. tonight in Room 316 of the Student Center.

"It's an LGBT group, but it's open to everybody," PRIDE!Kent secretary Ally Oulton said.

Tonight's meeting will focus on welcoming freshmen and letting people know what PRIDE!Kent is about.

This year, Oulton said, the group plans to have a good time and inform the Kent State community about LGBT issues.
