Kent State alumnus Rick Rucker's trial to end a three-month-long saga with the Kent Police Department was granted a continuance yesterday morning.

Rucker was arrested during a party at his apartment on the morning of Jan. 7 and charged with a loud noise violation and resisting arrest.

Portage County Prosecutor Sean Scahill said the trial will be rescheduled for next month. The reason for the continuance is currently unknown.
