Delta Upsilon President Robert Lewis said there is no connection between the fraternity and the accident that took place outside its house at 202 S. Lincoln St. Sunday morning.

Dana Lim, 25, of Parma was run over by a tow truck shortly after midnight during Halloween festivities in Kent. Witnesses said he was pushed into the truck during a fight.

"It was an unfortunate accident that just so happened to occur in front of our house," Lewis said.

Lim was still in serious condition at Akron City Hospital last night, a hospital representative said.

Lewis said his prayers go out to those affected by the accident.

Kent Police ask that anyone who was present at or witnessed the incident call the department at (330) 673-7732 or the Detective Bureau at (330) 673-7733.
