Last week may have been a tough (and windy) one to watch for Spartan fans who traveled to Chicago to watch the game, where the score remained extremely close upon entering the fourth quarter. There was, in reality, nothing to fear, as the offense stepped up and put up 14 points while the defense locked down and allowed a mere three points in the fourth quarter, making the final score to 38-24, with the well-deserved victory going to the Spartans.

Scanning the roster for the Case Western Reserve University Ice Hockey club team, you find many first names that you would expect to find on a college club hockey team: two Erics, two Michaels, a Joe, a Henry, and a Kayla.

The city of New Orleans needs more than Lil' Wayne. A 5-foot-nothing rapper can't hold the city's rep forever. Hurricane Katrina ripped through not only houses, but hearts of the city's people. You've heard the stories of civilians living in the Superdome during the aftermath. Sure, we're four years past the catastrophe, but you don't think the city is still suffering? You don't think the fans are still hungrier than ever?

With 1:29 remaining, Slippery Rock men's basketball coach Kevin Reynolds took a timeout. Not because he was angry at his team, but because Michael Evans Jr.'s 3-point shot had cut the University of Pittsburgh's lead to 71-64.
SRU still had an opportunity to win the game.
